Towbarless tractors

KALMAR-towbarless tractors were introduced in 1989 and since then more than 400 units have been delivered to customer and are in operation world-wide. They meet all the requirements in line with the BOEING, AIRBUS and SAE documentation for TOWBARLESS TOWING VEHICLES. All our towbarless tractors are equipped with an Aircraft Nose Landing Gear Oversteer Alerting System as standard equipment.

Kalmar Motor AB´s Towbarless-tractors are based on a unique patented docking device called the cradle. This makes docking to the aircraft possible without moving or lifting the aircraft.


KALMAR TBL 50 To meet the requirements for handling regional type aircraft, an expanding market sector. TBL-50 is designed for pushback and maintenance towing of commuter aircraft for example: ATR, Dash 8, Embraer, SAAB, etc. Tractor is also able to operate pushback on B737 and A320. More information
