The Company

Established in 1971 by the purchase of Kalmar Verkstad AB´s baggage tractor production. First tow tractor for handling aircraft developed by the end of the 1970´s with a new generation in the mid 1980´s. This tractor became the market leader in Scandinavia, and was exported to rest of Europe and Africa.

Development work on a new aircraft tractor without tow bar was initiated. Designs tests and patents were ready by 1989. Towbarless tractors of Kalmar origin have from the beginning set the standards in this market sector and to date more than 400 units are in operation world-wide.

From 1997 the Company is owned by Mats Petersson and Magnus Johansson, who are both daily active in the business. With the new management, the product line has developed to include a complete range of tow tractors for airports and industry.
